All our extensions are built in order to display various visual effects only when that particular extension enters the visible area of the browser (that's called "the viewport"). In order to check when that happens and run the visual effects, most of our extensions are using the viewportchecker.js script.

Unfortunately, this script stopped working properly on Chrome 61+, the result being that any extensions that uses a visual effect remains invisible (in a "display none" state).

If you experience this problem or if you have donwnload any extension of ours before 09.09.2017, please follow this procedure:

  1. Download and extract this file:
  2. Go to your modules folders (ex: /modules/mod_favshowcase or /modules/favtestimonials) and, inside the themes/js/viewportchecker folder, replace the viewportchecker.js file with the one from the archive
  3. It's important to repeat this operation for ALL your favthemes extensions
  4. If your extension is missing the themes/js/viewportchecker folder, you are good and you don't need to take any additional action
  5. After everything is completed, please try to clear your browser's cache and, also, your Joomla! instance cache, especially if you are using any kind of minization/optimization plugin
  6. All our extensions and quickstarts were updated with this fix so if you donwloaded a product from us after 09.09.2017, you don't need to do anything.
