How to use the download package

1. What is the download package?

The download package is a .zip archive that has in it the product you ordered from our store.  When ordering multiple products, you'll receive multiple download packages, one for each product inside the order. The content of the download package is available by accessing:

  1. the email with the download link(s)
  2. your favthemes.com account, from MY ACCOUNT/MY DOWNLOADS
The download package is available only for completed orders, so if your order is cancelled or not paid (for Premium products), then the download package is not available until your order is valid and completed.

2. What is in the download package for a Joomla! template?

The download package for our templates is a .zip archive that has in it 2 other .zip archives:

  1. the template
  2. the quickstart (copy of the demo)
This is why the downloaded .zip is named UNZIP FIRST, so please make sure you unzip the download package before using it and do not use it as a standalone product.

2. What is in the download package for a Joomla! extension?

The download package for our extensions is a .zip archive that has in it:

  1. a .zip archive for the product
  2. a readme.txt file with useful information about the product
This is why the downloaded .zip is named UNZIP FIRST, so please make sure you unzip the download package before using it and do not use it as a standalone product.
